Below is a photo for draining the boiler on the ECM Classika. To do this allow your machine to heat up to temperature for brewing espresso. At that point unplug the machine and remove the water tank. When the tank is removed you can tilt the machine forward and open the steam wand and e61 group head. This will drain most of the water out of the boiler unit, making it safe for storage and shipping.
