NOTE: Although only the steam side of this machine is shown, these instructions are exactly the same for both the steam valve and the hot water valve.

1. Allow the machine to fully cool down.

2. Unscrew the valve assembly from the front of the steam or hot water arm using the 21mm wrench or an adjustable wrench. You may want to drape a towel over the valve to protect it from being scratched.

NOTE: Use a one wrench to hold the valve arm steady as you unscrew the valve assembly with the other wrench.

3. Clean or replace the gasket inside the steam or hot water arm.
