Lelit Bianca: Safety Valve Replacement

Below you will find instructions for replacing the safety valve on a Lelit Bianca.

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips Screwdriver
  • 15mm Combination Wrench
  • Teflon Plumbers Tape
  • Flathead Screwdriver (optional)

 

Parts Needed:

 

1.  Remove the top panel of your Lelit Bianca.

2. Locate the safety valve on top of the steam boiler.

3. Remove the silicone tube from the safety valve.  Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the tube if you are having difficulty removing the tube.

4. Using a 15mm wrench unthread and remove the existing safety valve.

5.  Wrap the threads of the new safety valve with Teflon plumbers tape 3-4 times.

6. Thread in the new safety valve, tighten down with the 15mm wrench, reconnect the silicone tube, and pat yourself on the back for a job well done.
