Lelit Bianca: Checking/Replacing Brew Boiler Temperature Probe

Tools needed:

  • #2 Phillips head screwdriver

  • Flathead screwdriver

  • 17mm wrench

  • Teflon plumbers tape

1. Drain your boilers completely and turn the machine off. Disconnect from the power source, and allow it to cool down completely.

2. Remove the panels.

3. Locate the CPU and use the Philips head screwdriver to remove the metal cover.

4. If replacing, you may unplug the red wire connecting the temperature probe to the CPU.

5. Using a 17mm wrench, unscrew the probe from the boiler and check for buildup.

6. Clean thoroughly/replace if necessary and then wrap the threads of the probe with Teflon tape before installing.

7. Follow these steps in reverse for reinstallation.
