Profitec Pro 700: Replacing the Safety Valve

Below you will find instructions and a video for installing a new safety valve in the Profitec Pro 700 Espresso Machine. Older Pro 700 espresso machines can safely be upgraded to the newer 2.5 Bar Profitec safety valves.

 

Tools Needed:

  • 2.5mm + 3mm Allen Wrenches
  • 20mm Crescent Wrench OR Adjustable Wrench

1. Remove the panels of the machine: Pro 700 Panel Removal

2. Remove the old safety valve.

3. Teflon tape the new safety valve threads.

4. Install the new safety valve.
