Bezzera BZ10: Draining the Boiler (No Heat)

Tools needed:

- 16mm crescent wrench

- bucket or sink

- 2-4 hands

2. Locate the copper tube that attaches to both the boiler and the steam valve:

2. Remove the copper tubing from both sides:

3. Flip the tubing around like so:

4. At this point you can either carefully bend the copper tubing to a right angle or place a small towel under the tubing to protect the inner components:

5. Open the hot water valve to introduce air into the system:

6. Please use caution for this next step! Pull your machine forward to the end of the bench or counter and tilt it over a bucket or a sink so that the water can drain from the boiler:

You have successfully drained the boiler of your BZ10!
