LUCCA A53 Espresso Machine: Setup Guide

Congratulations on your new La Spaziale LUCCA A53 (or Vivaldi) Direct Plumb Espresso Machine. Watch our setup video below to help you get started.

Important Setup Notes:

If you will be plumbing the machine into a water line, it's vital to ensure that the line pressure going into the machine is between 30 and 45 PSI. This will help prevent premature wear and potential damage to the machine. Our Home Filtration & Softening System comes with everything you need to hook up your Direct Plumb A53 to a water line. If you already have filtration & softening, you may need to install a pressure regulator on the water line supplying the machine to set the line pressure within the recommended range.

Commercial Water Use:

If you use the Direct Plumb A53 in a cafe or a light commercial setting, your business may need more robust filtration and softening.

  • If you are hooking up to a hard water line or splicing off from an existing water line, the Commercial Water Filtration & Softening System covers your water needs.
  • If you need a mobile water solution and something easier to set up and break down, the Caffewerks Espresso Machine Pump System is an excellent choice. It will keep your machine safe and cranking out shots. You need to provide the water and a 5-gallon water drum.
