Lelit Bianca: Converting Machine to Reservoir Mode

In this article, you'll see the step-by-step process involved in converting a plumbed-in machine over to being reservoir fed. (Difficulty ☕)

Tools needed:

  • #2 Philips head screwdriver
  • Large flat head screwdriver
  • Microfiber towel (or another type of scratch resistant surface to rest your machine on)

1. Turn the machine off, disconnect from the power source, and allow it to cool down completely.

2. Unthread the water line from the bottom of the unit and install the flared adapter that was provided with the unit. Tighten until snug.

3. Install the water line and 1/8" plug as shown below. Utilize the plastic fasteners on the bottom of the unit to hold the line in place.

4. Affix the reservoir housing to the machine by way of the large, spring-loaded screw on the top of the assembly.

5. Secure the second spring-loaded screw underneath the assembly before plugging in the other end of the 1/8" cable. Lastly, plug in the power cable.

6. Now that the reservoir has been installed, you will want to simply plugin and turn on the unit. No additional settings will need to be adjusted as the Lelit Bianca automatically senses whether it is plumbed or utilizing the reservoir.
