Lelit Elizabeth: Inspecting the Function Buttons

Does nothing happen when you push the hot water button? Or the brew button has gotten harder to press? The function buttons on your espresso machine may need attention. These steps will help you inspect, clean, or replace them. (Difficulty ☕☕☕)

Tools Needed:
- T20 Torx driver
- Compressed air
- Small brush or swab

1. Remove the top panel.

2. Identify the reverse side of the button that needs attention. Remove the electrical leads by gently, but firmly pulling the connector straight off. lelit_elizabeth_button_01-1

2. Remove the button from the faceplate by pinching the two retaining clips and sliding the button assemble out.

3. Inspect the button assembly for dust or debris build-up and for any signs of damage.

4. Remove the button cover by gently pulling it straight off. Use compressed air or a small brush/swab to carefully remove any built-up debris before reassembly. If the button is damaged, replace it with a new one.
