LUCCA Solo: Draining Instructions

This guide shows you how to properly drain your LUCCA Solo.

If your LUCCA Solo is unable to fully heat or will not power on, check out these draining instructions.

Tools needed:

•  Measuring Cup (4-10 fl. oz)
• Towels

1. Turn the machine on and allow enough time for it to fully heat up.
2. Once the machine has fully heated, turn it off and remove the reservoir, drip tray grate, and the drip tray.
   
   
   
   
3. Caution: Machine will be hot! Using both hands, carefully tilt the machine forward, place the measuring cup under the group head to catch the water, and lift the brew lever. You can use a towel to protect your hand from the top of the group head. 
   
   
   
   
4. You'll know the boiler is drained once the flow from the group head has stopped. You should get ~ 6-10 oz. in the measuring cup.
