LUCCA Solo: Replacing the Vibratory Pump
Listed below you'll find the step by step instructions on how to replace the vibratory pump in the LUCCA Solo.
Tools needed:
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Adjustable Wrench
- 10mm Wrench
- 12mm Wrench
- PTFE Tape
- Wire cutters
- Remove the panels of your LUCCA Solo.
- Disconnect the water inlet from the pump.
- Disconnect the wires from the pump.
- Use the 10mm wrench to disconnect the water outlet line.
- Remove the zip tie that secures the silicone tube to the priming valve.
- Remove the Phillips screw below the pump outlet.
- Lift the pump out of the machine and disconnect the tube from the priming valve.
- Place the 12mm wrench on the pump outlet tool flats.
- Place the adjustable wrench around the pulsor and onto the priming valve. Hold the 12mm wrench steady and unthread the pulsor from the pump outlet.
- Remove the pump bracket from the old pump and install it on the replacement pump.
Wrap the threads of the pulsor with some PTFE tape to prevent leaks before installing it on the new pump.
Once the pulsor is installed on the new pump, follow these instructions in reverse order to finish installing the new pump.
