Profitec Pro 300: Panel Removal
Below you will find step-by-step instructions as well as a video on how to remove the panels from a Profitec Pro 300 Espresso Machine.
Tools needed:
- 2.5mm allen key
- 3mm allen key
- Flat head screwdriver
Please make sure that your boilers are drained and your machine is cool to the touch before you begin.
1) Remove the top panel by using the 2.5mm allen key.
2) Inside the front panel, you will need to remove these 2 screws.
3) Lay the machine on its back and use the 3mm allen key to remove the 4 screws that hold the side panels to the bottom of the machine.
4. On each side of the machine, there is a screw that fits into a slot which is shaped like a pear. To get the side panels free, you will need to push the side panels down to let the screw match up with the wider part of the slot, allowing it to pass through and then pull the panels out.
5) You will need to clear the inner L-shaped tabs from the front panel to allow them to come off. After they are free you can simply lift the side panels out and off of the machine (These metal tabs have been omitted in the newer models).
6) If you need to gain access to the internals, you can remove the reservoir holder by using the 3mm allen key to unscrew these two on the bottom of the machine.
7) If you need to completely remove the reservoir holder, you will need to disconnect the tubes on the adaptor piece, and unplug the two wires.
6) Follow these directions in reverse to reassemble.
