Profitec Pro 700: Cleaning and Replacing Steam / Hot Water Arm Gasket

Is your steam or hot water wand dripping water or dispensing steam when closed? Below you will find instructions for replacing or cleaning the steam or hot water gasket on the Pro 700 Espresso Machine.

Tools Needed:

• Adjustable wrench 
• 21mm open ended wrench or a second adjustable wrench

1. Allow the machine to fully cool down.

2. Unscrew the valve assembly from the front of the steam or hot water arm using the 21mm wrench or an adjustable wrench. You may want to drape a towel over the valve to protect it from being scratched.

NOTE: Use a one wrench to hold the valve arm steady as you unscrew the valve assembly with the other wrench.

3. Clean or replace the gasket inside the steam or hot water arm.
