Repackaging the ECM Puristika

First drain the machine by opening the brew lever and tipping the machine over a sink or bucket. The machine does not need to be on or connected to the reservoir. You should be able to get 2-4 fl oz out of the machine this way. That's enough to make the machine safe to ship.

Cover your machine with the bag and placing the machine in the center of the folding cardboard insert.

Next, place the portafilter and power cord into the small cardboard box and place this under the grouphead.

Fold the cardboard insert around the machine and gently lift and set into the outer box.

Place the straight cardboard piece atop the insert.

Place the accessories in the top box as shown (hoses are tucked beneath the manual.)

Place the accessories box on top and close the flaps handle first.
