Panel Removal and Installation

LUCCA A53 / Mini / Vivaldi: Panel Removal

Below are video and photo instructions for removing the panels on your La Spaziale LUCCA A53 / A53 Mini / Mini Vivaldi / Vivaldi espresso machines. (Difficulty ☕)

 

With the panels removed the machine can be turned on and operate as normal. Removing the panels helps with diagnosing water leaks and electrical issues.

Tools needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver

At this point you can remove the side panels. On newer models there is a plastic retainer holding the back of the side panels in place and will need a little more force to remove.

At this point you can remove the back panel and have access to the internal components of the A53 / A53 Mini / Mini Vivaldi / Vivaldi.

If you need to remove the panels to investigate a leaking machine, you may also need to remove the lower front panel. Remove the drip tray from the machine and remove the two screws shown below:

Make sure to replace the drip tray before testing the machine with the panels removed.
