Lelit Mara X: Repackaging Instructions
Here is the step-by-step process for safely repackaging the Lelit Mara X espresso machine for shipping. The machine should be drained before shipping to avoid damage in transit.
The machine's boilers must be drained before repackaging.
1. Please make sure your machine is cool to the touch and drained before you place the foam covers over the steam and hot water arm and then cover the machine with the plastic bag. Please make sure the plug and drip tray have been removed.
2. Place the machine into the inner box and add the cardboard cutout that covers the top of the group head, valves, and the top panel. Please make sure there is no room for the machine to shift in shipping, and add bubble wrap or Styrofoam inserts to make sure it is snug. Place the power cord, and drip tray back into the accessories box.
3. (For Returns: Make sure all accessories are returned in place in the accessory box. For a full list of accessories visit the product page here under the "what's included" section.)
(For Warranty/Billable Service please do not include these accessories, and you may also hold onto your drip tray and reservoir, but still include the box to create a top barrier for your machine.)
Place the accessory box on top of the cardboard cover.
4. Tape the inner box closed and replace the foam corners.
6. And finally, tape the outer box closed securely.
