LUCCA X58: Temperature Probe Cleaning

A machine that is overheating or failing to heat can indicate scale buildup or a faulty temp probe (Difficulty ☕)

Before testing, please unplug your machine and allow it to completely cool and depressurize.
Then you will remove the panels of your machine.

Tools needed:

  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • 17mm wrench
  • Scotch-Brite scouring pad
  • Cafiza cleaning solution
  • Teflon tape

1. In order to gain more access to the space, you can use an adjustable wrench to turn the elbow fitting on the boiler to the left.
(Don't forget to tighten after you have finished reinstalling your temp probe)
