Pro 800: Vacuum Breaker Service or Replacement
A continuous hissing sound, weak or absent steam/hot water, intermittent pressure-relief sounds that continue long after the machine has reached full temperature — these are all signs that your Pro 800's vacuum breaker may need attention.
Tools needed:
- 2.5 mm Allen key
- 17mm crescent wrench or deep socket
- Pliers
Parts needed:
Vacuum Breaker Rebuild Kit or Complete Vacuum Breaker
NOTE: Start with the machine unplugged and cool to the touch.
1. Start by removing the panels from the machine.
2. Locate the vacuum breaker on the boiler.
3. Using the 17mm crescent wrench, unscrew the cap from the vacuum breaker.
4. Gently remove the inner components with a pair of pliers.

5. Disassemble the inner components for inspection. Clean and reassemble the components or replace as necessary.

6. Make sure that the components are assembled in the appropriate orientation.
NOTE: The color of the components may vary, but they all function the same.
