Profitec GO: Replacing the Exhaust Drain Port

Please follow along with these instructions to gain access to your exhaust drain port for cleaning or replacement.

Tools Needed:
2.5mm Allen key
3mm Allen key
12mm short socket and wrench
Flathead screwdriver (optional)

- Please note, that your machine should be turned off and unplugged before you remove the panels according to these instructions (same exact steps, on a very similar model of machine) -

1. Once your reservoir housing has been removed and set off to the side, you should be able to identify the drain port pictured below:

2. Remove the silicon tube from this part by using a flathead to carefully separate it, and pull it free by hand.

3.In order to create a little bit more room, you can use the 3mm allen key to remove the screw holding the left pump bracket in place. The pump should now be free to push off to the side.

3. To gain access to the front retaining nut of this part, you will need to lay the machine down on its side and then remove the 4 screws holding the drip tray housing in place with a 3mm allen key.

4. Use the 12mm short socket to attach to this nut on the front side of the machine, and use your other hand to hold the fixture in place as you loosen with the wrench on the opposite side. (NOTE: if the front portion of your drain port has broken off, this nut may not be attached, in which case, the part should lift freely out of the machine).

5. Once you have cracked it loose, you should be able to remove all parts from the machine by hand.

6. You may now use a straw brush to clean out the tubing, and soak the parts in a mixture of hot water and Urnex before you follow these instructions in reverse to reassemble.
