LUCCA A53 Mini / Mini Vivaldi: Vacuum Breaker
Below are instructions for how to remove the vacuum breaker from your LUCCA A53 Mini or La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi espresso machine. This is useful when the vacuum breaker doesn't create a good seal and is constantly leaking steam.
Ensure the machine's steam boiler is fully cooled before proceeding. Always disconnect the machine from the power source before performing any repairs.
Tools required:
- phillips screwdriver
- metal brush
- 19mm long socket & socket wrench
- New Vacuum Breaker
Unplug the machine, then remove the top panel.

Once the vacuum breaker is removed be sure to clean off the top of the boiler where the vacuum breaker sits and clean off the cup the vacuum breaker sits inside so that when installing a new vacuum breaker you can create a proper seal.
