La Marzocco GS3: Replacing the Flowmeter

Below are instructions for replacing a flowmeter on a La Marzocco GS/3 espresso machine. This is useful when getting a flowmeter error code after making sure there is proper flow through the whole system.

Before doing this we recommend unplugging the machine and allowing it to fully cool off.

Tools required:

  • 13mm socket wrench
  • 14mm wrench
  • 17mm wrench
  • adjustable wrench

First, remove the right side panel.

When finished tighten down all tubes and test for flow, leaks and error code.
